Dear friends, welcome and thanks for stopping by.  If you are like me, there was a moment in time after which your life was never going to be the same.  For me, it was the summer of 1972, I was ten years old, and RCA was releasing via TV commercials the blue-and-gold compilation “best of” LP set.  When that commercial came on, that was it.  Like countless millions around the world, I knew then and there that there was an “annointed one” – well, as annointed as one could be in rock music.    I invite you to sign in and blog with us and come back often to be a part of the community that pays tribute to the man from Memphis.  Regards, Charles
